Happy Monday! With the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale in full swing, I thought I’d kick off the new week with a roundup of my purchases, as well as reviews for each item. Be advised that many of these products are selling quickly (and some have already sold out), so act fast if your size is in stock! That said, some products are restocked throughout the sale and sizes will often come available again since there is such a high volume of returns/exchanges, so it’s always good to keep checking!
P.S. If you notice any furry orange lumps in the background, those would be my kitties, Sunny and Chester. They always seem to find a way to sneak into photos!
Halogen cashmere wrap $208 Sale price: $124.90 (one size)
This was probably my favorite find from the sale. It’s 100% cashmere and SO snuggly soft. The best part about this is that it can be worn multiple ways–including as a scarf–so it’s essentially like getting several pieces for one price. It’s currently sold out, but I’ve seen it popping up again here and there—also available in gray, navy, and beige.
Thread & Supply utility vest $58 Sale price: $31.90 (Oversized; I am wearing a S)
I’m a sucker for utility jackets and vests, so at less than $32, I couldn’t pass up this one up. I purchased a S because the information said it ran small, but unfortunately I probably could have gone with an XS as it is quite oversized. I think I’ll still keep it, though, because it will work great over tunic sweaters later this fall.

Trouvé sleeveless sweater $79 Sale price: $52.90 (Oversized; I am wearing an XS)
This sleeveless turtleneck is such a great sweater for transitioning between seasons. Wear it now by itself or later layered over a shirt or dress. Sizes are still available and it also comes in black.
Love by Design lace-up sweater $48 Sale price: $31.90 (Runs small; I am wearing a S)
I ordered this sweater thinking it would be great to wear now with shorts. It’s definitely not a cold-weather style since the material is thin and pretty see-through (I wore it over a tank top). It’s currently not available, but make sure to size up if you happen to find it—also comes in navy blue.
B.P. woven twill tunic $48 Sale price: $31.90 (True to size; I am wearing an XS)
I knew this button-down would be a staple from now through fall, so I made sure to snap it up right away. You can wear tucked in or out, with jeans or leggings. The white is currently sold out, but sizes are still available in gray and olive green (both are great colors!)
Leith cocoon cardigan $74 Sale price: $49.90 (True to size; I am wearing an XS)
Burgundy is one of my favorite fall colors, so this cardigan was at the top of my list when I made my shopping plan. I plan to wear it over a tee shirt or a dress when the weather gets cooler. It comes in a variety of colors, but all of them are selling quickly, so don’t hesitate!
Leith shaker pullover $48 Sale price: $31.90 (Oversized; I am wearing an XS)
It’s no secret I love oversized sweaters and this bell-sleeved style is so comfy. Unfortunately it sold out fast, but could be restocked, so keep an eye out!
Adidas ‘Superstar’ sneaker $79.95 Sale price: $59.90 (True to size; Unisex style—I am wearing a Women’s 7/Men’s 6)
At less than $60, I definitely knew these classic kicks would be going in my shopping cart. The sizing information on Nordstrom suggests to size down a whole size; however, I found that to be inaccurate. I only ordered a 1/2 size smaller than usual and the pair I received was still too snug for my comfort. I compared the sizes marked inside the shoe to the Adidas Stan Smiths I already own, and as I believed, they were a half size smaller than normal. My advice is to order your regular size and a 1/2 size smaller to see which fits better—NOT a whole size down!
B.P. ‘Tandem’ bootie $119.95 Sale price: $79.90 (Runs small; I went up 1/2 size—if you have wide feet, consider going up a whole size)
I needed to update my old pair of khaki suede booties, so I figured I would try out this pair. They’re decently comfortable, but I definitely don’t think they are meant for marathon walking since the front sole is pretty thin. Overall, they are a great deal for the sale price and the neutral tan color will go with everything. Nordstrom sizing information suggests to size up; I went up a 1/2 size and they were perfect in the toe box, although a tiny bit narrow on the sides. The good news is that they are still fully in stock (yay!) Other colors available: black, burgundy, chocolate, and dark gray.
Here’s what the booties look like with jeans: if you’re petite, I think they are more flattering worn tucked in because the shaft is not low-cut. ** My jeans are not part of the sale but there is a very similar wash in the exact same style included in the sale here.
