For hectic summer days when I find myself short on time for planning an outfit, I’ll often reach for a dress. I especially love shirt dresses for their versatility: I could wear one to work, an outdoor party, and everything in between without feeling overdressed. All it takes to change up the look each time are different shoes and a handbag.
Nothing says ‘summertime’ like nautical-inspired stripes, and this sleeveless style from SheIn is ideal for hot weather. The fit is a little large in the waist, so I added a wide leather belt to give it some shape. I also want to apologize if you’re like me and looking at these images messes with your vision a bit—have you ever noticed how that happens sometimes with striped clothing? For whatever reason, they can definitely be tricky to photograph!
