Bonjour! Today I’m sharing my final post from Paris, in another famous spot in the city: the Pont Alexandre III bridge. We quickly realized this is a very popular location for wedding photos after seeing three different couples posing in their gowns and suits. It was kind of funny how the photographers were all side-stepping around each other to get their ‘models’ with the perfect Eiffel Tower background!
It’s hard not to be inspired by a city as chic as Paris, so I used this trip as an excuse to get a little glamorous. There is a sense of grandeur and luxury in all of the architecture, but I really felt like I blended in with this bridge. I love when clothing is both stylish and comfortable, and the stretchy ponte fabric of these wide leg cropped pants from J. Crew is super-flattering. They’re also ideal for travel because they hold their shape and don’t wrinkle (you can get them on sale now–linked in my outfit details!)
I made sure to pack several silk scarves for the trip; they’re my favorite trick for adding a touch of elegance to any outfit (along with a bold lip!)Do any of you have exciting weekend plans? One of my husband’s Italian coworkers told us about a cinghiale (wild boar) festival in his hometown nearby, so I think we may go—we love experiencing different Italian cultural traditions, and if there’s food involved, even better! I hope all of you enjoy the weekend ahead and thank you so much for reading!
