One of my favorite (and sometimes, one of the most challenging) parts about doing blog photos shoots is finding a location which ‘matches’ my outfit. To complement the edgier style of this look, we headed to a metro stop near our neighborhood which has a few large graffiti murals. We had originally intended on shooting beside a wall painted with Martin Luther King, Jr., only to pull up on the Vespa and realize there was nothing but a field of tall grass directly in front (not so great for stilettos!) Needless to say, we had to settle for this other random graffiti art! This tee is my favorite and comes in a wide spectrum of colors (I already own four). For a price tag of less than $20, the fit and quality can’t be topped–and if you keep an eye out, sometimes they go on sale for even less! The fit is relaxed but I still sized up; for reference, I’m wearing a small.
Bandanas have become a popular accessory and luckily, I inherited a ton of them from my mom years ago–I swear, she had every color under the sun (I think she used them as headbands to match her gym attire?!) For now, I’m rotating between black and light blue because I left the rest packed up in storage back home.
Tying a denim jacket around your waist is no longer done simply for functional purposes, but meant to look effortlessly cool–90’s style throwback, anyone?
