Hi everyone, and I hope all of you had a wonderful weekend! I had the opportunity last week to attend a party at the Intropia boutique in Rome for a preview of the summer/pre-fall collections. It was a rainy evening, so we took photos as quickly as possible when there was a break, finishing just as the clouds opened up again. To be honest, another reason I was excited to attend the party was that it gave me a chance to wear this new halter jumpsuit from H&M. The wide-leg silhouette is so flowy and comfortable, and I also love its 70’s disco-vibe. I wanted to play it up with chunkier platform heels, but the pant legs actually ended up being shorter than I expected. For accessories, I kept things simple with a white clutch and block-heel sandals, and as the temperature got cooler, the addition of a white blazer.
Outfit Details
- Jumpsuit (H&M; another halter style here and love this cropped style)
- Sandals (DSW–old; more block heel options here, here & here)
- Clutch (Saint Laurent–sold out; more colors here)
- Lip (Chanel ‘La Romanesque’)
The understated, yet unique pieces displayed in the windows at Intropia are what initially drew me into the boutique for the first time when I moved to Rome. This season’s collection has the same feel with soft colors, feminine shapes and romantic details.Metallic fabrics and beading make for the perfect summer party dresses.I love the simplicity of these chic, neutral-toned dresses.I’ve always been drawn to camo print, so the blue shirt dress definitely caught my eye. And while I am still not sure how I feel about the return of overalls, this pair in sophisticated tweed may change my mind.
