In case you haven’t noticed–which I’m sure you all probably have since they’re everywhere–fringe and tassels are having a major moment in the fashion world. The other night, I used both details to dress up this standard combo of a denim shirt and white jeans for an ensemble with a classic yet modern feel.
If you’ve been following my blog for awhile, you’ve probably noticed my penchant for ponchos during fall and winter, so you can imagine how excited I was to find one for warm weather. This style’s lightweight material is airy, yet provides just enough cover when it’s a little chilly outside–it was perfect layered over a denim shirt for dinner al fresco the other night. I should also mention the quality is great–no snags yet! I can’t wait to wear it with shorts and a tank top when summer arrives (get yours now while it’s on major sale–I’m contemplating the beige one as well). The past few evenings, we’ve been taking photos when my husband is finished with work, and we’ve been lucky enough to catch the lovely ‘golden hour’ just before the sun sets. Most of the time we shoot during the afternoon, but I’m beginning to like this softer light more and more–what do you all think? It’s just another reason to love the longer days of spring and summer!
