The near-perfect weather in Rome makes spring the best time of year, but there’s another reason why I love it so much: gorgeous wisteria vines suddenly bloom everywhere around the city. I can’t get enough of its heavenly fragrance, and the draping purple flowers can make even the most run-down building look romantic. I told my husband I want to plant some of it at our home one day as a reminder of when we lived here, but for now it makes the dreamiest background for photos!Cropped wide leg pants are having a major moment, and I have to say how much I L.O.V.E. this pair from J. Crew: the high-waist fit is so flattering, the ponte fabric is super comfy, and the wide leg looks amazing with heels–I definitely recommend them for anyone who needs a pair of culottes (thinking I also need them in black!)
I’ve had this mint bag in my collection for a few years now, and it is still one of my favorites for spring and summer–I always find the pastel shade to be a perfect match for navy blue. The weekend is supposed to be beautiful here–and warm–which means I have to start considering self-tanning soon so I don’t blind anyone when I put on shorts for the first time. To get a jump start on my ‘tan,’ I’ve always been a fan of the original lotion from Jergens but I’m about to try this one because it’s supposed to work faster (here’s hoping I’m bronzed by the weekend, ha!) If anyone has other recommendations for good self-tanning lotions, I’d love to hear them. Thank you so much for reading!
