Although usually reserved for fall and winter fashion, this time of year is actually ideal for wearing leather jackets since it’s still cool outside but a heavy coat isn’t necessary. I opted to wear my cognac colored one for a lighter feel, with boyfriend jeans and sandals to complete the look. A leather jacket like this would also look great with white jeans, cropped pants, or even thrown over a dress. I think I need to add a beige or blush pink leather jacket to my collection one day!

Unfortunately, these sandals have pretty much sold out online, but I linked several other lace-up options below, and since it’s the must-have shoe for the season, there are TONS of beautiful styles out there!

But no matter how annoying the process of lacing them up can be, I am still totally obsessed with them–fashion over function wins, ha!Michael Kors camel tan leather jacket, distressed boyfriend jeans, leather jacket with boyfriend jeans and lace up sandals outfitI intend on getting more use out of my leather jackets while the weather’s still cool enough–who else is with me?
