Last weekend, I went on a Vespa ride with my husband to explore a different part of the city I hadn’t seen before. The pedestrian-only bridge in the background is very unusual for Rome because it’s one of the few modern architectural structures in this otherwise ancient city (and is actually quite larger than it appears). We’ll definitely be going back to explore it further, so you can expect to see more blog photos of this area in the near future.
I couldn’t wait to try a pair of cropped flares, and these jeans are my new favorite with a flattering dark wash and subtle flare hem. Whether in the form of denim or more substantial fabric, this is the pant style you’ll be seeing everywhere for spring and summer. With spring just around the corner, I’ve found myself gravitating toward softer colors; this soft mint scarf and beige bag are ideal accessories for giving my outfits fresh appeal while it’s still chilly outside.I hope all of you have a wonderful weekend! I actually kind of forgot Valentine’s Day is on Sunday, so it will be a pretty low key celebration for us with dinner at our favorite neighborhood spot. I can’t complain, though–dining at an authentic Italian restaurant in Rome still sounds pretty romantic, right?! Happy Valentine’s Day and thank you so much for reading!
