Hi there and I hope all of you had a great weekend! My husband had to work most of yesterday, so we squeezed in a week’s worth of blog shoots on Saturday, which was definitely exhausting. I’m lucky he is such a patient man, but we just happened to get a new camera, so I think he was secretly happy for the excuse to play around with it–ha! We also killed two birds with one stone by combining photos with a stop at our favorite gelateria, Come Il Latte. They added a new flavor to the menu–mochaccino with bits of chocolate meringue–which is absolutely delicious (okay, now I want need to go back!)
I almost forgot that I had this striped turtleneck and now I’m remembering what a versatile layering piece it is. For an edgy-chic vibe, I paired it with distressed denim and my favorite slouchy coat. (Side note: this is basically the only decent photo of me with the gelato–the rest of the time I was too busy chowing down to care about looking cute!)
I also want to mention that I finally got around to publishing a travel post yesterday about our trip to Rothenburg, Germany back in December, which you can read here. It’s made me start wanting to plan another getaway–anyone out there have must-have places for us to see in Europe?
