Winter in Rome is pretty mild, and a typical high temperature usually hovers in the mid 50° Fahrenheit range, so we can’t complain. However, the rainy weather which is typical for this time of year makes it feel a lot colder than what the number reads on a thermometer. The chilly air has me obsessed with soup recipes, and I’ve been cooking some once or twice a week–thankfully, neither my husband nor I have gotten sick of it yet. Speaking of winter obsessions, I’ve had a thing for thick, oversized sweaters lately (as I’m sure you’ve noticed!), and this turtleneck tunic I wore the other day is exactly that. There are few times when I am thankful to be on the petite side, except when it comes to tunic sweaters. This cable knit style from H&M is super long on me, so I actually prefer wearing it as a dress. That said, I don’t think you have to be short to rock it as a dress, though–just go up a size and that should add some extra length! I love this sweater so much I also purchased it in beige.
Black accessories round out the dark palette for this monochromatic look. I hope all of you have a wonderful weekend and thank you so much for reading!
