Hi everyone, and I hope you’re all having a wonderful week! I cannot believe that tomorrow is Christmas Eve–it always seems to sneak up on me every year. We returned yesterday from our trip to Germany and it was one of the best we’ve taken so far. We immediately fell in love with the charming town of Rothenburg, which was absolutely beautiful for the Christmas season. Being surrounded by all of the decorations and fresh greenery, I couldn’t help but be inspired to wear this festive plaid poncho for strolling the streets.I usually wear this ruana poncho open, but decided to give it a different spin by adding a brooch to drape it over one shoulder–I loved the glamorous result and also felt a lot cozier in the cold weather. If you don’t own a pair of Zella ‘Live-In’ leggings, I suggest purchasing them as soon as you finish this post–they are the BEST leggings I have ever worn (and now the only pair). Not only can they be worn to the gym, but the reversible aspect –shiny on one side, matte on the other–makes them versatile enough for dressier outfits–and amazingly enough, they aren’t see-through! If you still aren’t convinced, take a look here at the 3000+ reviews with an average of 5 stars (no biggie).I’ll be writing a more in-depth post on our travels later for my La Dolce Vita page, but for now, here is a peek at the charming scenery–if such a place as ‘Christmas Town’ exists, I am sure it has to be Rothenburg!
