Hi everyone! I played Santa (or Mrs.) Claus today by wrapping a few gifts for my husband–once they are waiting under the tree, often he’ll act like a kid, trying to guess what’s inside each box! Due to living overseas, I had to start my Christmas shopping in November in order to receive gifts from the States on time. The postal service has been backed up for this time of year, so I just received some of the things I ordered on Black Friday when normally it takes about two weeks for us to receive items ordered online. Even though it requires more time and patience to receive packages now, online shopping is still my favorite because I like reading customer reviews before I purchase things, meanwhile staying in comfy clothes to do it!The peplum flare hem of this jacket initially caught my eye when I was browsing SheIn’s website: in person, it’s flattering, modern, and the perfect complement to a pair of skinny legging jeans. I layered it over a cherry red turtleneck to give my outfit a more festive feel.Taking a break from my usual boots, I opted to wear these leopard pumps and kick things up a notch (if you are need of a pair for yourself, mine are surprisingly comfortable and currently 50% off!)
A popular way the narrow streets of Rome are decorated for Christmas is with lights strung between buildings. The city streets can be pretty dark and gray this time of year, so the twinkling lights add a cheerful touch, looking especially magical at night.
