Happy Monday and I hope your week is off to a great start! While driving down the interstate headed south from Rome over the weekend, we noticed the trees were in full golden bloom with all different shades of orange and yellow–I couldn’t believe how much it looked like October rather than December (as you can also tell from these photos). I’m not complaining, though, because the fall foliage never lasts long enough in my opinion. This year, I was lucky enough to experience autumn in three different places: first in Germany, then in Virginia, and now Italy! One of my favorite pairings for fall and winter is camel and black for its luxurious appeal. I’ve always wanted a suede skirt, but everything I have seen until now has been too expensive. I recently found this authentic suede midi from Ann Taylor and don’t know which makes me happier: the timeless silhouette, superior quality, or the fact that I snagged it for half price. Now that it’s been marked down with an additional 60% off, sizes are going fast, so don’t hesitate if you’re interested (it also comes in navy!)There’s something about this skirt that just begs to be worn with knee high boots. Since the length is slightly long on me, I chose a high-heeled pair for an elongating effect.Leopard print beautifully ties the camel and black colors of this outfit together and livens up the neutral palette.
