I’ve come to realize one of the main reasons fall is my favorite style season is that there are so many rich textures to choose from and wear together for endless interesting outfits. This layered look I wore on the second day of Milan Fashion Week ended up being my favorite, with a mix of denim, wool, suede, and leather combining together in beautiful harmony. Trench coats and denim jackets are both weaknesses for me, so as soon as I saw this perfect blend of both from Ann Taylor, I had to have it. The denim material is a fresh take on the classic and the dark color can easily be dressed up, as I did here with a skirt and suede boots. It’s currently on sale with an additional 60% off, so I highly recommend grabbing it while you can (wish I had gotten the same deal!)Burgundy is one of my all-time favorite colors for fall and I especially love this bag paired with gray and dark blue. I tend to wear burgundy with just about everything, though, so I consider the berry shade a neutral for any autumn wardrobe. Side note: I was too excited to discover this fur keychain was a perfect match for my bag–totally obsessed!Piazza Duomo is probably the busiest section of Milan and I’m not sure how we managed to be so lucky as to have a clear background for photos in front of it, but hubby managed to quickly snap a few before another wave of tourists hit!
I can’t help but share another photo of Piazza Duomo in daylight since we had such beautiful weather for our second day in Milan! I still have a lot more to share from fashion week, but for other snaps that won’t make the blog, check out my Instagram @meagansmoda!
