Ever since we saw all of the sunflower fields on our trip to Civita di Bagnoregio last weekend, I’ve been determined to find some for photos, so we took a Vespa ride to the outskirts of Rome and after much searching, finally came across a gigantic field of girasoli!I love how the flowers are all facing the same direction like little soldiers!Since I had to meander my way through the rows of flowers that were planted so closely together, it was a little more difficult than we expected to get anything other than upper-body photos, so we stopped by the park afterward to finish the rest of the shoot.Dressing for the Fourth of July doesn’t mean you have to go overboard: a striped button-down, denim shorts, and Converse sneakers are always a simple, classic All-American look. The striped shirt I’m wearing is one I’ve had since high school or early college, and still remains one of my favorite pieces to wear each July (it doesn’t get much more patriotic than red, white, and blue stripes!) I also put together a few Independence Day-inspired outfits below from FarFetch–how great are the stars and stripe-printed Converses?! Wishing all of you in the U.S. a safe and happy Independence Day weekend, and as always, thank you so much for reading!
