On our last morning in Pescara we had breakfast at our hotel, and in the traditional Italian way the spread was very sweet (but just for the record, I also ate a banana to balance it out!). Afterwards we headed back to the beach for a final photo shoot; I wanted to feel my toes in the sand one last time, and as I mentioned before, the water in Pescara is just right–not too cold and not too warm, with gentle waves. By the way, in case you were wondering, it’s located on the coast of the Adriatic Sea and only two hours East of Rome–I still can’t believe it only took that long to drive across the country!
I love to have fun with my outfits in the summer and am always finding inspiration from colorful pieces like this striped boatneck tee and zigzag pattern scarf, and I figured why not make this look even more lively with some pattern mixing? Denim boyfriend shorts and comfy sandals made for a carefree look that was perfect for a walk on the shore and our trip back to Rome–I’m missing the beach already! By the way, many of the pieces here are J. Crew and everything I am wearing is on sale (the shorts are definitely a steal)–happy shopping and have a wonderful weekend!
