Happy Monday and I hope your week is off to a great start! We spent our Saturday in the charming town of Viterbo, which is located about an hour and a half outside of Rome. First, we visited the Moutan Botanical Center, which is home to the the largest peony farm in the world, and finished the day with a fantastic brunch at a beautiful estate in the countryside. Stay tuned for a more in-depth post of our trip to come on my La Dolce Vita page.
This vintage silk scarf is another treasure I found a few weeks ago from my favorite consignment store in Rome and I knew right away that I couldn’t pass up a stunning piece like this for my collection (especially considering the condition is like new). The vivid colors of this gorgeous floral pattern couldn’t be more perfect for spring or an easier way to glam up a simple look, and since I wanted the focus of my outfit to be on this beauty, I stuck to neutral colors for everything else. You may notice that I wore ballet flats for the peony farm tour, and switched to heels for the brunch–it’s always good to be prepared for anything, right?!
