TGIF, everyone! Earlier in the week we headed toward the center of Rome for some sightseeing and happened to come across this pretty little park. One of the best parts about Italy is the abundance of different piazzas sprinkled throughout the city, where people will gather to chat, shop (if there happens to be a market), or just relax on a bench and enjoy a beautiful day. Everything is really starting to turn lush and green here after all of the rain we had last weekend, and it almost looks as if this backdrop could be a real jungle instead of a concrete one!
Much like the effortless chic of an all-black outfit, and just as sophisticated, a palette of creamy neutral tones is the lighter side of monochromatic dressing for spring and summer. I love the colorblock style of this neutral jacket because although it’s a blend of various shades of beige, it’s anything but boring, and works with almost everything in my spring wardrobe.
- Jacket (Ann Taylor–last season; other pretty colorblock styles here and here)

- Sunglasses (Chanel)
