We’ve been having some springlike weather for awhile, but now that the cherry blossom trees are in full bloom, it officially feels like primavera has arrived. I’ve been taking my cue from our surroundings and find myself inspired to add pieces in pastel colors, like these mint pumps and beige bag, to all of my outfits. It’s also the perfect time to wear pieces from this soft color palette with Easter coming on Sunday.
My favorite way to wear this graphic print sweatshirt is by layering it over the French-print popover I picked up last year from J. Crew. I seriously love this shirt–the print, covered with miniature champagne bottles, croissants, macarons, and all things French gets me every time. Combined with distressed denim, this playful mix reflects the lighthearted appeal of the new season. Patent pumps lend polish to this casual look, but I also wore this last weekend with ballet flats for even more Parisian flair (and comfort for walking everywhere). Adding a pair of Converse sneakers would also be cute and casual!
