Happy Monday! I started my week with a new adventure: Italian language lessons. It won’t be too intensive since it’s only a few hours per week, but I’m officially a student again, complete with homework. Prior to this, I had been doing independent study using several online language programs, but I feel like I need more in order to have any kind of in-depth conversation in Italian. I am hoping one-on-one instruction with an actual teacher will help build my confidence for speaking Italian when I’m out and about in the city.
I’ve been waiting for warmer weather to break in this trench cape I picked up awhile ago from Ann Taylor. The clean lines of the stripes combined with the cape’s structured silhouette create a crisp spring ensemble. I’m a firm believer that you can never own too many striped shirts and this navy and cream option is one of the best I’ve found, thanks to the high-quality material. To top off the look, my favorite mint handbag adds a pop of color against the light background and speaks to the new season.
