One of my favorite ways to wear leopard print for spring is with blush pink and black. With jackets, under blazers, and alone, I’ve worn this merino wool turtleneck from J. Crew so many times recently I’ve lost count. It’s lightweight, yet warm, and perfect for those days that are still just a bit chilly. It also happens to be on sale for less than $45, so I definitely recommend checking it out if you’re looking for a good spring sweater.

My husband said this post should really be named “Nothing is Right” because while we were shooting this outfit, I kept finding things I wasn’t happy with: one minute it was too light, the next it was too dark, and then the lights started coming on outside the shops and distorted the camera settings. It was a tricky shoot to say the least since we usually don’t take photos near dark, but I think we managed to get a few good ones. I’ll be the first to admit I am a perfectionist and my photographer has a lot of patience with me sometimes! On another note, nothing was wrong with the pizza we had afterward for dinner. We tried a new restaurant near our place and the wood-fired pizza with mozzarella di bufala, pomodori e basilico (buffalo mozzarella, tomatoes, and basil) was pretty amazing–much like everything we’ve eaten here.
