Happy Monday! I hope all of you had a good weekend. We stayed home for most of it to organize and sort things for our move to Rome. The movers are coming on Thursday to pack up our house, but we won’t actually fly out for another week. Trying to decide what I’ll need to wear for the first few weeks before our clothing shipment arrives has been challenging to say the least. My husband may say I like to over pack, but my motto is it’s better to be over-prepared because I hate not having enough outfit options while traveling!
As much as I’d love to be styling spring clothing, the last few days have been frigid–we’re talking below 20 degrees–so this week is going to be filled with layered winter looks. Luckily, all of the photos I’ve seen from fashion shows for NYFW have inspired me to embrace cold weather fashion again, and one style that will definitely be sticking around for the next season is fur. Not only is it the obvious choice for freezing temperatures, but fur is by far the chicest way to complete any winter outfit. I topped off this black and gray ensemble with my favorite faux fur infinity scarf which beautifully combines both shades.
