Today’s post is short and sweet because I’m off to dinner and a movie with my hubby. With all of our preparation for moving, we’ve hardly had any time for date nights, so I’m looking forward to an evening out together!
I’m celebrating 2015’s color of the year again with pieces that feature marsala red. This aztec-print cardigan offsets the solid shift dress with a pattern which incorporates the same color, as well as rich navy blue. Topping a solid color dress with a printed cardigan or jacket is an easy way to take a simple piece and create an eye-catching outfit. I would wear this ensemble to work, and on a weekend outing I’d add the fedora for a fun twist.
