It’s almost Friday, everyone! We’ve had a long stretch of very cold weather lately, and I’ve been focused on layers when planning my outfits. As I’m bundling up for the day, I rely on chic winter accessories to add style while keeping me cozy. A faux fur scarf, cashmere beret, and leather gloves add textural interest as well as protection against the elements. I’ve always thought elbow length leather gloves look so glamorous and had to search high and low until I finally found a pair from C. Wonder. Not only do long gloves add a dose of sophistication to winter ensembles, the extra length makes them the perfect match for capes, ponchos, or any jackets with shorter sleeves.
For this particular look, I started with a layering camisole and added a thin turtleneck to keep my upper portion from looking too bulky, but fortunately most capes leave plenty of room for thicker sweaters if necessary. Burgundy leather-like jeans add a dose of color to this otherwise monochromatic black outfit and look especially sleek with thigh high boots.
