There’s something about the light on a city street that always seems to deliver incredible photo quality. Maybe it’s the tall buildings that block out just enough harsh direct sunlight to create an even backdrop or perhaps the reflection from the stone sidewalks, but whatever the case, I know my husband appreciates a break from having to constantly adjust the camera settings while shooting. And thanks to a good camera lens, you’d never know the twinkling background is merely traffic lights and orange road cones!
I’m coming back to black and gray, my current favorite palette for winter, and I love how this snow leopard printed skirt beautifully combines both colors. Unfortunately, it’s no longer available, but I found a very similar option (on sale) below. It’s equally as cozy with this heavy sweater coat as it is with a fur vest or chunky oversized sweater, although I’m not so sure it would stand up to the arctic temperatures we’ve been experiencing lately–today’s high was barely 18 degrees! It’s safe to say I’ll be living in Uggs and my Eskimo-style hooded parka until this polar vortex passes.
