Happy Monday! I spent a relaxing weekend with my husband in the mountains of Warm Springs, Virginia, where we stayed at a lovely inn for two nights. While exploring the town, we spent some time walking around the famous Homestead Resort. The old architecture and beautiful grounds served as a lovely backdrop for some photos. I was a little disappointed the resort wasn’t completely decorated for the holidays yet, because it is pretty incredible to see–especially the 22 foot tall Christmas tree!
A blush pink coat has been on my wish list for awhile, and this cocoon style I found on sale from Express did not disappoint. Unlike most cocoon silhouettes, this one is not overwhelmingly roomy. I also love the standing collar feature. I wore it with a floral dress which I “winterized” by layering over a turtleneck and tights with ankle boots.
