I couldn’t resist snapping photos beneath one of the trees in my hometown that recently exploded into all its fall glory. Being surrounded by all of the gorgeous autumn color each day never gets old for me. Something else that never gets old is tweed and pearls. Both are timeless wardrobe essentials which are always good to have on standby. That being said, it’s refreshing to see the two get a stylish update every now and then. This statement necklace adorned with chunky crystals is a modern version of the traditional beaded strands. The peplum silhouette of the jacket gives new life to customary tweed. I paired my tweed and pearls with distressed denim and suede ankle-strap pumps to keep this ensemble fresh and fun.
