Happy Monday, everyone! I hope all of you had a wonderful weekend. As usual, mine was a whirlwind which flew by too fast. I feel like every weekend should have three days: one to go out and have fun, another to clean and prep for the week ahead, and the third day would be designated purely for relaxing and recharging. Who’s with me?!
Wearing faux leather in the form of a sleeveless top and shorts is an easy way to incorporate fall texture into your wardrobe when it’s still warm outside. I’ve had this peplum top in my closet since last year and it somehow managed to stay in there until now. I paired it with my faux leather shorts which were purchased separately, and was pleasantly surprised to find them a great match! I only wish I had worn this top sooner. Now I’m thinking of other ways I could restyle it: maybe with some destructed skinny jeans for a rock n’ roll effect or go edgy chic with a fitted pencil skirt. Leopard heels and a pop of vivid cobalt blue stand out against this monochromatic look. What do you think of styling leather on leather?
