Tops and bottoms with contrasting lengths tend to balance each other’s proportions. For this look, I chose a crop top and ankle-length midi skirt. The punchy coral pink color of the skirt is bright and summery, while black adds a little edginess. For a more casual look, I would wear it with flat sandals (shown here).
This crop top is a style steal from Target. I was drawn to the jacquard texture and keyhole back. When I wear crop tops, I usually prefer to have more coverage around my chest area, so the high neck is perfect. A note about the fit: If you’re petite, the length will most likely be too long. I had to have an inch taken off the hem for it to be a cropped style. I feel like it was worth it for the price, though.
