TGIF! Not only is it Friday the 13th, but the moon is also full, which translated to a day of teaching some crazy kiddos. One more week until summer break!
This week has been full of deals and steals that I can’t wait to share with you!

These beauties are by far my sweetest steals of the week. While browsing at Nordstrom Rack, I happened to see both of these styles in only one size, which just so happened to be mine. I snagged both of them for less than $200 total, which is pretty darn amazing for Weitzmans! Why so inexpensive? I believe the silver gladiators were a style from last season, but the Nouveau pumps are current (I have them in red, shown here) and are a “refurbished pair” which I was told basically means Nordstrom found something on them to be inperfect when the inventory arrived, so they were sent back to Stuart Weitzman to be repaired. Even though there are no imperfections now, they can’t be sold at regular price. Talk about a lucky shopping day for me!
If you haven’t heard already, the semi-annual sale at Bath & Body Works started on Monday. I stopped in on the first day to see what goodies I could find. The candle and hand creams were 50% off, my favorite True Blue Spa foot cream was $6, and seasonal soaps were $3 each. If you happen to go, make sure to bring a $10 off $40 coupon–you can find the code online or sign up for email and it will be sent to you. I have to admit I was a little disappointed in the inventory, though–usually they bring back a lot of classic fragrances at the semi-annual sales, but this time they chose to keep many of those as “online only” items.
I just ordered a tube of Clinique CC cream to serve as my summer foundation makeup. I typically don’t like to wear my normal powder foundation when it’s super hot outside, and this delivers even coverage in a lighter formula. Plus, it has SPF 30, which is just what I need for my fair skin. The cream is said to color correct (CC) a range of complexion concerns, such as redness or dullness.
Hubby and I are getting ready to move in a few weeks and want to paint our bedroom walls a color that coordinates with our bedding (pictured in this photo). I like neutral colors in my house and these pale gray shades invoke a sense of calm.
I scored this lovely floral print maxi dress from LOFT for $12–less than the cost of a typical dinner out! All dresses were 40% off this week and I had a $40 LOFT rewards card to use in addition to the sale. Stay tuned for a blog post featuring this beauty in the near future!
