Everyone has heard of the LBD, but why not try an LWD for summer? A little white dress is perfect for the warm weather months and need not be worn only for graduation or wedding rehearsal dinners (although, admittedly, I bought mine last year for the night before my own wedding!) Just add wedges and a few accessories and you’re ready for any summer celebration. I particularly love lace styles paired with gold, and I added coral earrings here for a pop of color.
While we were in Nags Head last week, my husband and I had the best dinner of our entire trip at The Brine and Bottle. They use fresh, local ingredients and add a unique spin to classic southern dishes. They do lots of pickling for jellies and relishes, and we had to try the bacon “jam” which was served with saltine crackers. For dinner, I had the shrimp and grits, which were served in a crunchy corn-cake form. The grits were so creamy they literally melted in my mouth when I took a bite. So delicious! I highly recommend checking out this restaurant if you vacation in the Outer Banks!
