Floppy straw hats and sleeveless maxi dresses were made for walks on the beach. I wanted a navy blue maxi dress for summer and fell in love with this style from LOFT. The cutout back adds interest with a peekaboo of skin and hits at just the right place to avoid any bra strap displays. I will say the upper portion, particularly the armhole area, is a tad loose on this dress. However, since the bottom half was a perfect fit, I did not size down. I finished the look with a few gold touches and navy wedge sandals for simple summer elegance.
