Today’s outfit is a mix of playful, preppy pieces. I bought the shirt and skirt in the same online order and didn’t think of pairing them together at the time. When they arrived and I tried them on simultaneously, I loved the result–spontaneous outfits are often the best! The distressed denim jacket and plaid shirt have tomboyish elements but their soft hues are decidedly feminine. A structured bag and fitted A-line skirt also help anchor the ladylike appearance. I’ve been obsessed with all things mint-colored lately, and I accessorized here with earrings, heels, and a bag.
