When Rachel and I were in California, my brother who lives in the area showed us around L.A. one afternoon. We went to Santa Monica and walked along the coast, drove up in the canyons for an incredible panoramic view from Universal City Overlook, and had dinner in West Hollywood. We parked in a quaint neighborhood with the cutest houses, including the one that served as the background for these photos. So many homes in the L.A. area are covered in the prettiest climbing vines or flowers. They look as if they came straight from a story book. The archway in particular here reminds me of a childhood favorite: The Secret Garden.
