The temperature hasn’t risen much above 35 degrees in the last week, so I’ve really had to get creative with my layering skills! While running errands last weekend, I fought the chill with a boatneck sweater for my base layer, thick cocoon cardigan, boucle scarf, and topped it all off with a cloche hat. Gloves would’ve been a good idea as well. I’ve found that if I have my head, neck and hands covered, I can usually handle cold weather pretty well. My Uggs would have felt warmer on my feet, but I just had to break in these new Frye boots I found for an incredible deal at Neiman Marcus’s winter clearance sale. I don’t see them available at Neiman online, but they may still be in stores. They had some fabulous shoe markdowns and I took these babies home for 60% off! While they aren’t the daintiest shoes I own, they are amazingly comfortable. I ran around in them all day and my feet still felt great. Like my other Frye boots, I can see these being a staple in my shoe wardrobe for years to come.
