I love the mix of textures in this outfit: soft faux fur, smooth leather, and cool mixed metals. The unique materials keep the combination of neutral colors visually appealing.
I don’t feel like I gave these boots the proper introduction they deserved when I got them last month. I have been searching for the perfect cognac colored riding boot for a long time. These had everything I was looking for: beautiful color, low heel, and clean construction. It’s a style that’s been reintroduced from the ’70s, which proves it to be classic. I invest a lot in my boots, so I want them to last. I’ve been hooked on Fryes ever since I bought my first pair about three years ago. Yes, they’re on the pricier side, but the quality makes them worth every penny. I can also say I have never paid full price for any of mine. Every now and then, you can find them on sale or a coupon will work (I got these babies with an online code from Piperlime). While it’s rare to find them on sale or be able to use a coupon, it’s well worth the search. As I mentioned in an older post, I take every pair of mine and have them resoled with rubber by a cobbler. It’s inexpensive, provides more shock absorption, and helps them last much longer. I intend on keeping all of mine till they fall apart or I have a daughter to inherit them!
