Is it really possible that tomorrow is Christmas Day?! Once again, the holiday season has absolutely flown by. I hope each of you will enjoy spending time with friends and family, carrying out holiday traditions and taking time to simply savor this special time of year. As soon as I post this, I’ll be heading to the kitchen for some last minute cookie baking.
Yesterday afternoon, my husband and I saw a production of The Nutcracker put on by a local ballet company. I have always wanted to see a live performance and was not disappointed. I wore some sparkle to reflect the style of the dazzling costumes worn by the dancers. I loved to watch the magic unfold onstage as Clara awoke to a beautiful Christmas scene in her living room. No matter how old I am, that same feeling of anticipation on Christmas morning will never fade. I wish everyone their own magical holiday–I hope it’s the best one yet!
