Today’s post comes from the Lungomare, the seafront strip which lines the gulf of Naples. I’ve been getting up early all week with my husband to go running along the water, and although I’m not a big fan of working out first thing when I wake up, it really is beautiful in the morning–especially when we catch the sun rising over Mt. Vesuvius!
I love finding great basic tees to add to my wardrobe because they get more use than many other items I own. The bell sleeves on this top caught my eye while shopping online at LOFT, and I’m so glad I got it. It drapes nicely and the flared sleeves are very subtle (I know some people aren’t into the huge bell sleeve trend!) Also, the material is a thicker ponte knit that’s just right for spring. Sorry if my legs look a little ghostly in these photos–I forgot to bring self-tanner with me to Naples! Since I tend to be a little lazy when it comes to keeping up with self-tanning, I decided to order this and this. Both are instant bronzing gel formulas that wash off in the shower, and are supposedly transfer-resistant on clothing, but I’ll let you know how well they work once they arrive!
