On Wednesday, we are heading to Milan for the Autumn/Winter ’16 fashion week, and this season will be especially exciting because my husband and I have received several invitations to attend runway shows. A few years ago, if someone told me I would be going to Milan Fashion Week now, I wouldn’t have believed it–this really is a dream come true, and I feel so grateful for the opportunity to go while we are living here. The icing on the cake is that just a few days after we return from Milan, my parents will be arriving for their first visit. They’ve never been to Italy, so we cannot wait to show them around!H&M brown wool panama hat, brown belted leather jacket, Stuart Weitzman londra gray suede Highland over the knee boots, leather jacket with thigh high bootsA rich blend of textures–leather, wool, denim, and suede–came together to create this neutral-toned outfit I wore the other week. It’s just right for the mild winter weather we’ve been having, but I could definitely see myself wearing this in the fall, too.Andrew Marc dark brown belted leather jacket, H&M panama hat, Clinique Broadest Berry lipstickdark brown belted leather jacket, Paige distressed denim jeans with over the knee boots, Stuart Weitzman londra gray Highland boots, vintage Louis Vuitton Passy bagAndrew Marc brown belted leather jacket, vintage Louis Vuitton Passy bag, Stuart Weitzman gray suede Highland over the knee boots, panama hat with leather jacket outfitH&M brown wool panama hat, Andrew Marc brown belted leather jacket, Stuart Weitzman gray over the knee boots, leather jacket with over the knee boots outfitWe haven’t made any big plans for the weekend since there are lot of last-minute things to do before we head to Milan, with the most stressful–and time consuming–part being outfit planning. I started trying things on today and before I knew it, almost two hours had passed and our bedroom looked like a tornado hit it. At least I have some ideas now, though (and hopefully the weather will hold out this time–in September there was torrential rain!) I hope all of you have a wonderful weekend and thanks so much for reading!
