Although it’s beginning to get warmer, this seems to be the time of year in Rome when there are long stretches of gray, gloomy days, and it’s always necessary to carry an umbrella. Rain showers often come seemingly out of nowhere, which is how the weather was all of last weekend, as well as the last few days. It’s safe to say my Hunter boots have been in heavy rotation, and I’m often reaching for hats to hide bad hair days (mine does not cooperate with humidity!)
Although functional, it’s easy for rain boots to look a little frumpy, so I like wearing them with distressed denim to give my rainy day outfits edgier appeal. That said, Hunter is by far the slimmest, most comfortable brand I have tried, and I highly recommend them if you don’t already own a pair (or two–they can get addictive!)
