{ Test of Time: Camel coat, Blanket scarf & Suede boots }

Happy Wednesday! I always love a classic combination of camel, black, and red for winter, and I wore this outfit on one of the days we were in Germany for our Christmas trip to Rothenburg.My beloved camel coat was probably the best investment I made for fall and winter because it literally works with any outfit, and truth be told, I hardly ever wear any of my other coats since this found a home in my wardrobe. I love how striking black looks against camel and this soft, oversized blanket scarf was a great find at Kohls during our trip home last month–since it’s only $16, don’t miss out (it’s linked below!)Exploring Rothenburg’s walls was definitely a unique experience for a taste of what life was like during medieval days (but really, not much has changed in this ancient German town). It is amazing how these structures have stood the test of time after centuries of use. Truth: after seeing all of this, I made my husband watch ‘The Sword in the Stone’ with me when we got home, which is one of my all-time favorite Disney movies–haha!Oh, you know, just posing with a medieval tower in the background–no big deal!Black leggings and over the knee boots are my secret weapon for looking taller–try it for yourself if you haven’t already! Over the knee and thigh high boot styles automatically give a lengthier appearance, but wearing them with pants the same color makes legs look even longer; the same principle applies to tights and heels/boots.
