{ Thanksgiving in Rome: Fleece cape, Burgundy pants & Suede boots }

Hi everyone! It’s still hard to believe tomorrow is Thanksgiving and then it will be time to start getting reading for Christmas. Since we live overseas, the holidays will be a lot different for us this year. Instead of my usual Thanksgiving tradition of waking up to watch the Macy’s Parade that’s broadcast live from New York, I will be at the gym taking my normal Thursday morning exercise class (the parade wouldn’t begin here until 3:00 in the afternoon anyway due to the time difference!) While we are able to get most of the standard American foods to make a holiday meal, it’s still difficult to find every ingredient you need for special homemade dishes and desserts. Fortunately, we will be celebrating by having dinner with other American friends, though–and I don’t have to worry about figuring how to cook a turkey in our tiny oven!This fleece cape has to be one of the best bargains I’ve come across in awhile–I picked it up at Costco for $15 during our vacation at home. I absolutely love this wrap: the fleece is so warm and plush and comes in several patterns. I wore mine for our trip back to Italy and it was just perfect for the airplane (no need for the free blanket provided on the flight!)
