When putting outfits together, I often find myself drawn to solid colored pieces because they are so easy to mix and match for many different looks, like this basic gray cardigan and trapeze dress. I originally planned on wearing them separately, but when I put this mini dress and maxi cardigan together, I liked how the extreme hemlines complemented each other. When shopping on SheIn, please note they are an Asian-based company, so sizing runs slightly smaller and shorter than average, which is perfect for petites, but something to consider if you are over 5’5″ (just be sure to read the measurements provided for each item on their website). I am 5’4″ and find the length of their dresses to be short, but ideal for showcasing my over-the-knee boots; if you are on the taller side, I think this dress would be great as a tunic top with leggings!
I found myself reaching for this cardigan again and again while I was in Milan: I’d throw it on over a tee shirt to go to breakfast, wear it when I got chilly while blogging in the hotel room, and dress it up like I did here for going out to dinner. Although I have worn them with sneakers (like this outfit I posted on Instagram), my favorite way to wear maxi cardigans is with high-heel boots because it helps me look taller and feel more glamorous.
