Happy Wednesday! I have been noticing a lot of holiday advertisements popping up recently in my emails and on my Instagram newsfeed, and is it just me, or does it seem a little early for that? I guess the holiday season isn’t very far off if you really think about it, but fall is the season I never want to rush through, and as much as I love Christmas, I’m not quite ready for it yet. I think living in Rome has also thrown me off because it still doesn’t really feel like fall here (or what I’m used to anyway). We’re going home next month for a long vacation and I absolutely cannot WAIT to enjoy the autumn weather and fully embrace the season (Starbucks pumpkin spice lattes, I’m coming for you!)
I wore this casual blend of stripes and distressed denim over the weekend, when we actually took some time to explore around the Roman Forum (we usually try to avoid touristy areas but it’s really beautiful there). We also did some photo shoot scouting and found a couple amazing locations for future posts.
I’m all about making a statement with accessories, and my textured bag and fringe booties never fail to jazz up any ensemble. I could have just thrown on a pair of sneakers with this outfit and called it a day, but that wouldn’t have been nearly as memorable, no?
I’ve probably said it before, but I am just obsessed with the deep berry color of this bag–photos really don’t do it justice!
