Mojito

TGIF! Today’s post is all about a feminine spring trend that has me obsessed. Whether in the form of a top, dress, pants, skirt, or accessory, floral print is everywhere. I actually bought these pants during the winter (worn here) but have found them to be a season-less item in my closet. I styled them for spring with strappy stilettos and a pale pink top and I plan on wearing them again this summer with a silk camisole.

We went to dinner tonight at a mozzarella bar where–you guessed it–they specialize in different types of the cheese, with flavors ranging from delicate to intense. Mozzarella is by far my favorite cheese here and I could literally eat it every day (and nearly do). I had also heard that this restaurant makes mojitos, my favorite cocktail, so I ordered one and asked if I could have ‘rum di cocco’ in place of the regular rum. Well, I’m pretty sure that what I got had cream of coconut or some kind of cream in it, and no rum! I guess there’s some truth to the phrase lost in translation and I need to keep it simple for happy hour next time. Cheers to a great weekend!
