It’s the first day of October–my favorite month of the year! Unfortunately, it hasn’t felt much like fall lately with the warm temperatures we’ve been experiencing. For now, I’m relying on light layers in autumnal colors until I can break out the cozy sweaters and scarves.
A striped oxford shirt is one of those wardrobe staples which will always be timeless. J. Crew gave this particular button-down a chic update by making it tunic style. The longer length makes it perfect for pairing with leggings or super skinny denim. In colder weather, I’ll be topping mine with a long vest or jacket–or going the opposite direction and wearing with a cropped sweater that lets the stripes peek through. A snakeskin satchel with gold hardware and metallic pumps add a luxe finish to this look.
