I’m back for the second week of “Friday Five,” where I’ll be featuring some things I’m loving right now. I hope all of you enjoy a wonderful Easter with your family and friends! Today’s five:

  • Brahmin “Ophelia” bag
  • Clinique Chubby Stick in “Plumped Up Pink”
  • Marc Jacobs “Eau So Fresh” Perfume
  • Bath & Body Works “London Calling” candle
  • Cadbury Mini Eggs

IMG_5968I can’t say enough good things about my latest Brahmin bag. First of all, the color is just gorgeous and instantly makes any outfit say, “spring.” It meets my handbag requirement for an outside pocket (score!) The shoulder strap is the perfect length and the width really helps it stay put. It also comes with an adjustable strap for wearing as a crossbody bag. I will say that the strap is pretty difficult to adjust, though. I tried as hard as I could and ended up having my mom help me (it was still quite a struggle!) If only my husband had been around–I’m sure he would have adjusted it in a matter of seconds. Difficult strap aside, this bag is both lovely and functional.

I am a big fan of Clinique chubby sticks–creamy, moisturizing lip balms with just the right amount of color. I have a weakness for pink lip color, so when I came across this new shade, “Plumped Up Pink,” I had to try it. How pretty! It’s noticeable, but not overbearing, and just the shade to liven up my face. I’d say it’s a good cross between “Woppin’ Watermelon” (pale bubblegum) and “Pudgy Peony” (super-saturated fuchsia).

IMG_5991Marc Jacobs Daisy “Eau So Fresh” is my favorite of all the perfumes I own. I found it for a great deal in the duty-free shop at the airport when we were in Tahiti for our honeymoon last summer. The name “eau so fresh” couldn’t be more fitting. The perfume is stated to be a mixture of fruits and florals, but what first comes to mind when I inhale is freshly washed laundry. I just love the whimsical bottle, too. The tray it’s sitting on is an antique jewelry tray which belonged to my grandmother.

IMG_4774I’m obsessed with Bath & Body Works candles and this is what I’m currently burning. The name is exactly, and I mean EXACTLY, what you smell with this one: tea and lemon. I’ve found it to have a great throw and can smell it all over my house when it’s lit. There’s nothing worse than buying a candle and barely smelling anything as it burns. This scent is so relaxing after a long day.

IMG_5960In honor of Easter, my final Friday five pick is Cadbury mini eggs. These little guys have been my favorite Easter candy for as long as I can remember. I always know spring is just around the corner when I spy the first bag for sale in a store! My husband surprised me with an early Easter basket, and I have quite the supply to last me for awhile.
