There’s quite possibly nothing cozier in (literally) freezing temperatures like we experienced today than wearing a blanket-like sweater cape and oversized wool scarf. I was on the lookout for a camel colored cape and found a good deal on this piece from Macy’s. The zipper closure is a great bonus for easy on and off. It can serve as a jacket: I layered underneath and was fine without one. The oversized style leaves plenty of room for a thick sweater if you need even more warmth. I really wanted a red/green/blue scarf and had my eye on one from J. Crew, but just happened to come across this on Ebay for less than $20 (plus free shipping!) I like this pattern even more than the J. Crew style, too. Style score!
